“While cleaning my yard the other day I noticed that the exterior of my air conditioning unit had some storm damage. I had a flyer for a free inspection from Home Air Conditioning so I gave them a try. Their technical was prompt and courteous. He examined inside the unit then showed me where some sticks and gravel blown in by a storm had bent the fan blades. He explained that these were less expensive to fix now before the I cranked up the AC as opposed to later when they could knock things out of balance and cause more damage. I was glad to spend a few dollars now rather than get hit with a loss of AC and a bigger bill in the Summer.”

“Installer (I believe his name was Izzy) was great and deserves a superior rating far more than what's available here. I'd have him back anytime. Also, Danny Neske is recognized for his integrity and technician skills from this service and from past services to us. URBN personnel and technicians provided an in-depth checkup and appraisal on the service call for the existing system. Their analysis of the air conditioning system problems were spot on. We went with their recommended solution. URBN price quote was accepted based on their integrity while dealing with us. Installation was quickly arranged and the technicians performing the install were very well trained, very knowledgeable and pleasant. The URBN company took care of all warranty requirements, all permits and arranging inspection. We are getting a follow up visit on Saturday from URBN to learn more of the warranty requirements and do's and don'ts for maintaining the system as well as some finishing touch ups that they didn't get to on installation day.”

I needed a main line replaced and a new backflow preventer valve installed at my house and had 4 different plumbing companies come out to assess and bid on the project. This was a big project, so I had a lot of questions about the details. They patiently and intelligently answered every question, even down to the pros and cons of going with different types of piping. Yes, such a unicorn actually exists in this city! “In the morning, Jose stopped in to evaluate the puddle in my front yard and scheduled Jeff to come by later in the day to fix it. It was fixed in one day. Jeff did an awesome repair job! +He was patience with me and talked me through the process of fixing the leak that was causing a puddle in my front yard. +When he found the leak, he showed me what it looked like and explained the fix. +When it was fixed, he tested it and again showed me the fix before back-filling the hole. +He stayed until just after sunset to make sure the work was done. +He put in extra effort to get my yard back to it's previous state. Both Jose and Jeff were Professional, Polite, and Experienced. I previously had 2 other people at my house *trying* to figure out this issue and those other companies made it out to be a very big deal that they would "try" to fix. I didn't use them. Jose and Jeff knew exactly what they were doing, assured me it was no big deal and had it FIXED IN ONE DAY (when previous people took all day to show up and tell me they weren't sure if they could fix it.) “Had some concerns as several owners in my complex had some issues with service appointments. However my tech showed up within the time frame. My HVAC has been limping a long for several years, but tech showed me where leaks were getting worse. I could probably have pushed the system through another season with investment in parts but would take longer to replace and cost more in high season. I asked for a quote to replace. It was in line with what others in my complex paid and they could put it the next day. Installers were on time and installation was smooth. They had to come back once to twerk it before passing inspection. I suspect a lot of issues my neighbors had resulted from change in management and getting their house in order.”

“I had two people from Urban meet me promptly at the time we had agreed upon and they examined my AC unit. They gave me the choice of replacing the old unit or getting the motor for the unit switched out. I chose the switch for now and Benjamin and Jakim did a very thorough job making the switch. Afterwards they did find another problem with the freon leaking to I had them fill the unit for now. They did discount the freon and for the time spent and motor part itself the price was reasonable. He didn’t find anything with the duct but felt necessary to open up and diagnose the central air equipment itself which was never serviced by Urbn yet. Angel was very thorough and recommended replacement but to the least, repairwork to prolong the life of the 5 year old system. Angel generously offered a 10% discount but his manager, Jason disagreed and started charging me, a long and outstanding Urbn customer, service fee for the trip and insisted on a barely 5% discount only nothing more. I will not work again with such a rude n shrewd manager, no people skill whatsoever, but Angel San Juan is a professional, friendly and an asset to Urbn. My long time favorite at Urbn is Thomas Lopez. Thomas is trustworthy, honest and professional but knows best all the skills needed for all of Urbn Home Services”

(They do residential work, too) Their equipment is top of the line and they can help with hydrojetting, also, should you find anything in the sewer line. We met with their technician Maui yesterday—he was very professional and friendly, and did a great job running a scope to inspect a sewer line at a dilapidated/abandoned commercial property we are hoping to restore, & providing a thorough analysis of everything he found. The 2 plumbers just didn't look hard enough and also didn't know everything to look for. In less than 1 minute on the phone, the issue was identified and appointment was set for the same day! “My A/C started blowing hot air over the weekend. I called URBN first thing Monday morning. They scheduled a tech to come out between 10a and 12p. The temp inside my house was almost 100 Degrees so I thought I was going to have to sweat it out for a few hours but A/C Tech Joseph showed up at 10am sharp. He was a very friendly guy. He asked a few questions about what was going on with my A/C unit then checked the thermostat out. I told him I had just replaced the thermostat so he made sure I had it wired correctly then he went on check the A/C unit on the roof. About 45 minutes later Joseph had my A/C blowing cold air again. I asked him about maintenance and cleaning and he said the unit was testing very good but recommended cleaning the internal coil and evaporator coils because they were pretty dirty. I knew the A/C unit had not be serviced in many years so I went ahead and had him clean them. I knew it would run better if it wasn't covered with dirt and dust. A/C Tech Joseph was very professional and overall I am very happy with URBN Home Services.”

Last July I was in a panic when my AC unit stopped working the same day family from out of town was arriving for a weekend visit. “I have four different plumbers here and all of them had a different opinion on what was happening with the toilet. I’m giving them five stars because of his politeness, but I’m at the mercy of plumbers because I know nothing about it. Cesar identified something that is a possible cause as well, as was determined by Sean Sean said it was sediment and all he was doing was poking a hole in it and it would have to be jetted. Cesar cleared the lines and saw sediment and debris in the lanes which was causing the drain to drain slowly. He also identified that the toilet even though it’s only a year old was full of sediment and water wasn’t being distributed properly in order to flush the toilet so you have to keep the handle down for two seconds for it to flush properly. The first and second plumber, said it could either be roots or a break in the line so you’re really at the mercy of who was ever doing the work”
